Our Children's Ministry is called FBC Kids. We have Proverbs 22:6 on the bottom because this passage of scripture says, "Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it". We want to make sure we are training up the children in the way they should go!
Sunday School

9:00 am/Sunday mornings Preschool - 5th grade. Using innovative ideas to instill Biblical values.
Children's Church
This takes place within with our 10:00 worship service every Sunday and is geared toward teaching children from preschool to 2nd grade. They'll get to experience hands-on teachings on their level, keeping them engaged and active for the entire time that you're worshiping with people your own age. Kids are excused following the children's message in "big church".
AWANA
AWANA begins at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesdays with a family style meal and fellowship. Then our kids are broken out into 3 age groups: Kindergarten-1st grade, 2nd & 3rd grade, and 4th-5th grade. We engage the kids through hands-on activities, discussions, games, and most importantly, God’s Word! AWANA ends promptly at 7:30 p.m.

Drop off and Pick up will be in the fellowship hall.
Mother's Morning Out
Mother’s Morning Out is a weekly preschool program designed to provide your child with academic and social skills, as well as spiritual training to create a foundation for further growth in the church, in God, and in Jesus. We have provided preschool services for Batesburg families and the surrounding areas for more than 15 years.
We currently open Monday -Friday for children ages 1-4. Class placement is determined by the child's age as of September 1st. Classes for ages 2-4 feature a Bible-based/center-based curriculum focusing on number, letter, and word recognition. We also encourage the development of fine and gross motor skills, cooperation, listening, and following directions. We also provide children with the opportunity to explore and expand their learning potential with a focus on kindergarten readiness.
Our teachers are all Christian women with a heart for children. An excellent teacher to child ratio in the classroom provides more individual attention for your child. All volunteers who associate themselves with our children’s ministry have completed our child protection screening program, have been submitted to a background check, and adhere to the SCDSS training program guidelines. Our staff is also CPR/First Aid certified.
